Burn & Reward System
One rule, applied to every token spend in the game, with no exceptions and no discretion.
The rule#
Every time $GLOAM is spent inside the game, it splits:

This applies to all in-game token spending:
- Wick Market fees
- Gloam cache keys
- Premium company and cosmetic kits
- Tournament entry
There is no category that is exempt, and no discretionary override.
What the burn does#
Burned tokens are sent to an address nobody controls and are gone. Supply started at 1,000,000,000 and only ever moves in one direction from there.
The important property is that the burn rate is tied to activity, not to a schedule. Nothing is burned because a calendar said so. Tokens are burned because somebody bought something, which means burn pressure and actual usage cannot come apart.
What the treasury does#
The treasury half funds:
- Gloam season prize pools
- Community events and tournaments
- Marketing and growth
- Seasonal campaigns
Prizes are recycled, not printed
This is the part worth being clear about. Every prize pool is paid out of tokens players already spent in-game. No prize has ever been, or will be, funded by minting — the mint authority does not exist. When we say a season has a pool of X, that X is already sitting in the treasury before the season starts.
Transparency#
The public tracker
A live burn tracker is a Phase 2 deliverable. It will show total burned, circulating supply, treasury balance and burn rate over time.
Until it ships, everything above is verifiable directly on Solana — the burn address and the treasury address are both public, on a public chain, and you do not need us to confirm what they contain. The tracker is a convenience, not the source of truth.
What this system does not do#
It does not guarantee a price. A deflationary mechanism attached to an economy nobody uses burns nothing. The burn is a consequence of people playing and trading — if that does not happen, the burn does not happen either. Anyone telling you the burn makes the price go up is selling you something.
